Monday- Students will complete a notetaker on Primary and Secondary Succession.
Tuesday- Students will create a comic strip representing Primary and Secondary Succession. Wednesday- Students will complete the Succession Comic Strip and review for Chapter 2 and 18 Test on Friday. Friday- Interactions of Living Things and Cycles of Nature Test. Monday- Students will complete a notetaker on the Carbon and Nitrogen Cycle.
Tuesday- Students will complete a notetaker on the Carbon, Nitrogen, and water Cycle. Wednesday- Students will simulate a water drop in the Water Cycle in the Into the Cloud Activity. Students will complete a story regarding their experience as a water drop. Friday- Students will participate in a Drinkable Water Activity. Monday-Students will complete vocabulary for Types of Consumers, read pages 484 to 485 and play vocabulary charades. Organization of the Environment Notetaker.
Tuesday- Symbiotic Relationships Notetaker. Wednesday- Students will participate in an activity to simulate a parasitic relationship (Bark Beetle Activity). Symbiotic Match-up Activity. Friday- Students will create a WANTED Poster advertising for the partner in symbiotic relationship. Monday- Students complete the Hunting and Escaping Video and Read about the Chemistry of Living Things.
Tuesday- Students finish reading about Chemistry of Living Things and complete a notetaker. Students create a Macro Molecule Mobile to visualize the molecules that make up our cells. Thursday- Students will create a Flip Book on the Five Levels of Environmental Organization. Friday- Students will complete their flip book and discuss food web and the transfer of energy from one organism to the next. Food Web Worksheet to be done in class. Monday- Students finish Lesson of the Kaibab Acitivity
Tuesday- Students will complete a Quiz on the Characteristics of Living Things. Wednesday/Thursday- Students complete Capturing the Wild Bean Lab. Friday- Predator/Prey Relationships. Hunting and Escaping Video |
