Monday and Tuesday- Students will identify and describe the molecules of Living Things and Complete a "What are you Made up of?" Lab.
Wednesday- Micro-elective Day Thursday and Friday- Thanksgiving Break

Monday- Review of Interactions between Living Things and the Cycles of Nature by using Active-Expressions
Tuesday- Students will identify and describe Primary and Secondary Succession. Wednesday & Thursday- 1) Students will create a comic strip describing Secondary and Primary Succession. 2) Students will review for the Interactions between Living Things and the Cycles of Nature by playing Win, Lose or Science. Friday- Interactions of Living Things and Cycles of Nature Test Monday- Students will finish watching a video on "The Land of the Flooded Forest". We will begin notes on the Cycles in nature. Carbon and Nitrogen Cycle
Tuesday- We will finish the nitrogen cycle begin the water cycle flipchart. Wednesday- Students will simulate the journey of a water droplet by completing the To the Front of the Cloud Activity. Students will complete the activity then write a story about their time in the water cycle. Friday- No School Monday- Students their Organization of the Environment Flipchart. If not, it is homework and due on Wednesday.
Tuesday- Students experienced Interdependence among organism by participating in a giant Food Web activity. Key Terms- Interdependence and Niche Wednesday/Thursday- Students will observe and take notes on the types of Symbiotic Relationships. Symbiotic Relationship Notes. Friday- Students will create a WANTED Poster for an organism and its partner in a Symbiotic Relationship. |
